Formerly A. Biederman, JDC Company, DCL Avionics and Triumph Group, Velocity Aerospace acquired Triumph Instruments Burbank and Triumph Instruments Ft. Lauderdale from Triumph Group in 2013 to make its entry into the aerospace MRO market. In 2014, EDN Aviation joined the Velocity family, acquired to strengthen and broaden the Group’s capabilities. In a strategy to widen its capabilities and customer reach, EMC Aerospace was acquired in 2015 and remained with the Velocity Group until July of 2020 when it was sold.

Today, Velocity core companies – Velocity-Burbank; Velocity – EDN Aviation; Velocity – Fort Lauderdale and augmented by its support center in Frisco, Texas continue to provide unparallel repair and part logistic solutions to customers globally.
